Margaret Mortimer Girls’ Junior Lyceum

Margaret Mortimer Girls’ Junior Lyceum was founded in the scholastic year 1996 – 97. The school was named after Margaret Mortimer who is a well-known figure in Maltese educational history. She was a Director of Education and was also honoured by the government for her vast contributions with regard to the great development in national education policy. The school takes pupils from Form 1 to Form 5 (ages 11 – 16) and accommodates over 1000 students from several localities in Southeast Malta.
The School Development Plan includes a number of Action Plans for each scholastic year. It comprises the schools’ involvement in Comenius Projects, Experiential learning and teaching, use of ICT across the curriculum and quality education among other priority areas.

Stella Maris College - Senior School

Stella Maris College is a Christian school run by De La Salle Brothers. The founder of these schools is St. John Baptiste de La Salle, the patron saint of teachers. The mission of this Lasallian school is to provide a disciplined academic and Christian education in the Lasallian tradition of de La Salle Brothers.
In 2004 Stella Maris College celebrated 100 years since it first opened its doors.
