King Edward VI School
King Edward VI School in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is one of many schools founded by King Edward VI. It is a state school and is part of the local authority system. It is believed that this is the second of King Edward's schools to be established and it dates back to 1550.
Today the school is a mixture of the well established and the modern with a new sixth form centre and an innovative approach to the timetable with three 100 minute lessons across the day. The school takes pupils from Y9 to Y13 (ages 13 to 18) and is part of the three tier school system in West Suffolk.
